“My work, even as a child, has always been figurative. No landscapes, no abstracts, just figure after figure.  I’m endlessly curious about humans and other living creatures. Bodies, relationships,  and emotions inspire me.

When I set to work, I rarely have a plan. When I am able to enter an unthinking flow state is when I am most excited about what I create.

As I look at my entire body of work, I see repeated imagery. So often of mothers and children. I also see my love of animals and the natural patterns repeated in the world around us. I see emotion, sometimes worry or loneliness, sometimes love and hope. I see cycles of life and the beauty in death.”
